METHOD OF WORK I work with pastels on black Arches rag cover stock paper. I do very little blending, preferring to to layer my pastels to alter the color. I begin the work with hard pastels, finishing with the softer pastels. I apply spray fixative to hold the color. My images are derivations of photographs I take.
